Housing Authority (Transfer of Assets) (No. 6) Order, 2005

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 12 of the Housing

Authority Act, the President of Malta has made the following order>-

The title of this order is the Housing Authority (Transfer of

Assets) (No. 6) Order, 2005.

The property described in article 4 of this order is hereby

specified for the purpose of article 12 of the Housing Authority Act.

The property specified in article 2 of this order shall be

transferred and vest in the Housing Authority as provided in the article

aforesaid with effect from the 22nd November, 2005.

The property referred to in article 2 of this order is the

following, that is to say>

(1) A plot of land having an area of approximately 263

square meters, forming part of the Mqabba Government Housing

Estate, limits of Mqabba, bounded on the North-West by a public

road, on the South-East by property of Mr Carmelo Mercieca, and

on the East by a public road. The said plot forms part of Government

Rural Tenement No. 50928 and part of Government land acquired

in virtue of deed No. 57#89 dated 29 th March, 1989 in the records

of Notary V. Miceli and it incorporates Home Ownership Plot No.

74 and is edged red on P.W. Drawing MQ#17#82. (HAM 80#81).

(2) Theree plots of land in Ta’ Xlejli Housing Estate, Gudja,

as follows>-

(a) a plot of land, known as Site A, having an area of

approximately 917 square meters, bounded on the West by

Triq ix-Xlejli, on the South by Triq il-Marki]a, and on the

East by Triq i]-}g[o]ija, forming part of Government land

acquired by Deed No. 129#2001 dated 12 th July, 2001 in the

records of Notary V. Miceli, shown edged red and marked

(b) a plot of land, known as Site B, having an area of

approximately 3,627 square meters, bounded on the North-

East by Triq il-Palazz, on the South by Triq Dorell, and on

the West by Triq i]-}g[o]ija, forming part of Government

land acquired by Deed No. 129#2001 dated 12 th July, 2001 in

the records of Notary V. Miceli, shown edged red and marked

(c) a plot of land, known as Site C, having an area of

approximately 5,930 square meters, bounded on the North

by Triq Dorell, on the West by Triq ix-Xlejli, and on the East

by Triq il-Palazz, forming part of Government land acquired

Declaration 514 of the 19 th June, 2003 and is edged red and marked

(38) A plot of land having an area of approximately 162

square meters, forming part of the Government Housing Estate,

limits of Rabat (Victoria), Gozo, bounded on the North-West by

said plot forms part of Government Property, formerly Rural
