Insurance Business (Linked Long Term Contracts) (Amendment)

Regulations, 2005

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 45 of the Insurance

Business Act, the Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, after

consultation with the Malta Financial Services Authority, has made the

following regulations

The title of these regulations is the Insurance Business (Linked Citation .

Long Term Contracts) (Amendment) Regulations, 2004, and they shall L.N.104. of 2000.

be read and construed as one with the Insurance Business (Linked Long

Term Contracts) Regulations, 2000, hereinafter referred to as “the

principal regulations” .

(b) in indent (b) of sub-paragraph (1) of paragraph 15, for

the words “regulation 59” there shall be substituted the words

“regulation 60”;

(c) in indent (a) of sub-paragraph (3) of paragraph 15, for

the words “regulation 65” there shall be substituted the words

“regulation 66”; and

(d) in paragraph 16, for the words “Tenth Schedule” there

shall be substituted the words “Ninth Schedule”.
