(CAP. 12)

Code of Organization and Civil Procedure (Schedule A)

(Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations, 2005

BY virtue of the powers given by article 1004 of the Code of

Organization and Civil Procedure, the Deputy Prime Minister and

Minister for Justice and Home Affairs, in concurrence with the Prime

Minister and Minister of Finance, has made the following regulations>–

Reg. 1 Title and commencement. — 290 tal-2005 - Regolamenti tal-2005 li jemendaw l-Iskeda A tal-Kodiċi ta’ Organizzazzjoni u Proċedura Ċivili (Emenda Nru. 2) Open official source

(1) The title of these regulations is the Code of Organization

and Civil Procedure (Schedule A) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations,

2005, and they shall be read and construed as one with the Code of

Organization and Civil Procedure (Schedule A) (Amendment)

Regulations, 2005, hereinafter referred to as “the principal regulations”.

(2) These regulations shall be deemed to have come into

force on the 1 st August, 2005.

Reg. 2 Amends regulation 3 of the principal regulations. — 290 tal-2005 - Regolamenti tal-2005 li jemendaw l-Iskeda A tal-Kodiċi ta’ Organizzazzjoni u Proċedura Ċivili (Emenda Nru. 2) Open official source

In regulation 3 of the principal regulations, in paragraph (a)

thereof, for the words “256 (a) of Cap. 12” there shall be substituted the

words “253 (b) and (e) of Cap. 12”.

In regulation 5 of the principal regulations, in paragraph (b)

thereof, for the words “256 (a) of Chapter 12” there shall be substituted

the words “253 (b) and (e) of Chapter 12”.
