JUDGES AND MAGISTRATES (SALARIES) ACT

Judges and Magistrates (Revision of Salaries) (No 2) Order 2005

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Judges and

Magistrates (Salaries) Act, hereinafter referred to as “the Act”, the Prime

Minister has made the following order>–

This order may be cited as the Magistrates (Revision of

Salaries) Order, 2005, and shall be deemed to have come into effect on

the 1st January, 2005.

There shall be paid to the holders of the offices specified in

the first column of the Schedule hereto, instead of the salaries prescribed

in section 3 of the Act, the annual salary specified in the second column

of that schedule.
