The Ratification of the Convention on the Elaboration of a

European Pharmacopoeia Order, 2005

IN exercise of the powers conferred by sub-article (2) of article 2

of the European Union Act, 2003, the Prime Minister and Minister of

Finance has made the following Order>–

The title of this Order is The Ratification of the Convention

on the Elaboration of a European Pharmacopoeia Order, 2005

In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires>

1. The Convention on the Elaboration of a European Pharmacopoeia

“the Act” means the European Union Act, 2003<

“the Convention” means the Convention listed in the Schedule

to this Order<

“the Treaty” has the same meaning as is given to the

expression in sub-article (1) of article 2 of the Act.

The Convention in the Schedule to this Order shall be regarded

as one with the Treaty.
