POLICE LICENCES ACT

(CAP. 128)

Police Licences (Amendment) Regulations, 2005

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 3 of the Police

Licences Act, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice and

Home Affairs, with the concurrence of the Prime Minister and Minister

of Finance, has made the following regulations>–

(1) The title of these regulations is the Police Licences Title and

commencement.

(Amendment) Regulations, 2005, and they shall be read and construed

as one with the Police Licences Regulations, 1949, hereinafter referred G.N. 846 of 1949.

to as “the principal regulations”.

(2) These regulations shall be deemed to have come into

force on the 1st January, 2005.

The First Schedule to the principal regulations shall be Amends paragraph

63 of the First

amended as follows>–

Schedule to the

regulations.

(a) in item 63, for the words “63. For the use of a tractor,

per annum” there shall be substituted the words “63. For the use

of a tractor#tractor-trailer combination, per annum>”<

(b) for paragraph (b) of item 63, there shall be substituted

the following>

“(b) intended to be used also abroad>

”< and

For paragraph (b) of item 70A, there shall be substituted the

Amends paragraph

70 of the First

following>–

Schedule to the

“(b)

intended to be used also abroad>

regulations.
