TELECOMMUNICATIONS (REGULATION) ACT

Publication of a Further Provision to a Directive by the

Malta Communications Authority

THE Malta Communications Authority (hereinafter referred to

as “the Authority”) is hereby publishing the following Further Provision

to the Directive published on the 14 th October, 2003 by means of Legal

Notice 303 of 2003 for the purposes of article 4 (5) of the

Telecommunications (Regulation) Act, of the Telecommunications

Services (General) Regulations, 2000, and of the Internet and Other

Data Networks (Service Providers) Regulations, 1999.

“Further Provision to the Directive by the Malta

Communications Authority published on the 14 th October, 2003

by means of Legal Notice 303 of 2003

Further to its Directive of the 14 th October 2003 published by means

of Legal Notice 303 of 2003, the Malta Communications Authority,

after having reviewed the present situation, the impact on various

operators and users, hereby further provides that reference in paragraph

4 of the original Directive to the 2 nd February, 2004 as the date of the

coming into force of article 3 of the original Directive has now been

extended to the 1 st April 2004.”.
