WIRELESS TELEGRAPHY ORDINANCE

(CAP. 49)

Wireless Telegraphy Ordinance (Amendment of Schedule)

Regulations, 2004

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 4(1) of the

Wireless Telegraphy Ordinance, the Minister for Competitiveness

and Communications, in concurrence with the Prime Minister and

Minister of Finance, has made the following regulations>–

(1) The title of these regulations is the Wireless

Telegraphy Ordinance (Amendment of Schedule) Regulations, 2004

and they shall be read and construed as one with the Wireless

Telegraphy Ordinance, hereinafter referred to as “the Ordinance”.

(2) These regulations shall be deemed to have come into

force on the 1st May, 2004.

In the First Schedule to the Regulations in the Schedule to

the Ordinance relating to the Issue and Renewal Fees on Broadcasting

Receiving Licences, item 2 relating to a Satellite Terminal Receiving

Equipment Licence, shall be deleted.
