Health Care Professions Act (Amendment of Fourth Schedule)

Regulations, 2004

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 51(e) of the Health

Care Professions Act, the Minister of Health, the Elderly and Community

Care has made the following regulations>-

(1) The title of these regulations is the Health Care

Professions Act (Amendmentof Fourth Schedule)Regulations, 2004 and

they shall be read and construed as one with the Fourth Schedule to the

Health Care Professions Act, hereinafter referred to as “the Fourth

Schedule”.

(2) These regulations shall be deemed to have come into

force on the 1 st May, 2004.

The Fourth Schedule shall be amended as follows>

of Fourth Schedule.

(a) under Medical Practitioners, immediately after the item

“Malta Association of Ophthalmologists” there shall be added the

item “The Maltese Association of Specialists in Psychiatry”;

(b) under Dental Surgeons, immediately after the item “The

Malta Association of Post Graduate Dentistry” there shall be added

the item “Malta College of Dental Surgeons”.
