Maritime Pilotage (Amendment) Regulations, 2004

IN exercise of the powers conferred by articles 28 and 64 of the

Malta Maritime Authority Act, the Minister for Competitiveness and

Communications, in consultation with the Malta Maritime Authority,

has made the following regulations:-

(1) The title of these regulations is the Maritime Pilotage

(Amendment) Regulations, 2004 and they shall be read and construed

as one with the Maritime Pilotage Regulations, 2003, hereinafter

referred to as “the principal regulations”.

These regulations shall come into force on the 1 st May,

2004. Amends regulation

In regulation 9 of the principal regulations, paragraph (a)

of sub-regulation (1) shall be deleted.

In regulation 10 of the principal regulations, in paragraph

(a) of sub-regulation (1) thereof, for the words “9(1)(a) to” there

shall be substituted the words “9(1)(b) to”.
