ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION ACT

Commencement Notice of the Waste Management (Packaging

and Packaging Waste) Regulations, 2004

BY virtue of the powers conferred on him by article 9 of the

Environment Protection Act, and in terms of regulation 1(2) of the

Waste Management (Packaging and Packaging Waste) Regulations,

2004, as published by Legal Notice 98 of 2004, the Minister for

Rural Affairs and the Environment has established the 1st May, 2004

as the date when the said regulations shall come into force.
