Commencement Notice of the Pollution Caused by
Certain Dangerous Substances Discharged into the Aquatic
Environment Regulations, 2001
BY virtue of the powers conferred on him by article 9 of the
Environment Protection Act, and in terms of regulation 1 of the
Pollution Caused by Certain Dangerous Substances Discharged into
the Aquatic Environment Regulations, 2001, as published by Legal
Notice 213 of 2001, the Minister for Rural Affairs and the
Environment has established the 1st May, 2004 as the date when the
said regulations shall come into force.
