Quality of Water Intended for Human

Consumption (Amendement) Regulations, 2004

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 10 of the Food

Safety Act, 2002, the Minister of Health has made the following

regulations>–

(1) The title of these regulations is the Quality of Water

Intended for Human Consumption (Amendment) Regulations, 2004,

and they shall be read and construed as one with the Quality of Water

Intended for Human Consumption Regulations, 2004, hereinafter

referred to as “the principal regulations”.

(2) These regulations shall come into force on the 29th

January, 2004.

Immediately at the end of the principal regulations there

shall be added the following Schedules I, II and III>–
