One-time Special Bonus National Standard Order, 2004

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 4 of the

Employment and Industrial Relations Act, the Deputy Prime Minister

and Minister for Social Policy, on the recommendation of the

Employment Relations Board, has made the following order>

The title of this Order is the One-time Special Bonus

National Standard Order, 2004.

A lump sum amount of Lm39, equivalent to 75 cents per

week for twelve months, shall be paid by the employer, by the end

of March 2004, to all employees who are on the employer’s books

on Monday, 15th March, 2004 and in respect of whom social security

contributions are payable.

Such sum as is mentioned in article 2 hereof shall be

recovered by the employer by way of offsetting against funds due

by such employer to Government in respect of income tax and social

security contributions.
