MUTUAL RECOGNITION OF QUALIFICATIONS ACT,

(ACT NO. XVIII of 2002)

Mutual Recognition of Professional Activities (Amendment)

Regulations, 2004

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 8 of the Mutual

Recognition of Qualifications Act, 2002, the Minister of Education

with the concurrence of the Minister for Social Policy, has made the

following regulations>–

(1) The title of these regulations is the Mutual Recognition

of Professional Activities (Amendment) Regulations, 2004 and they

shall be read and construed as one with the Mutual Recognition of

Professional Activities Regulations, 2002, hereinafter referred to as

“the principal regulations”.

These regulations shall come into force on the 1 st May,

In regulation 2 of the principal regulations for the definition

Amends regulation

of “adaptation period” there shall be substituted the following>

“ “adaptation period” shall have such meaning as is

assigned to it in regulation 6 hereof< ”.
