Commencement Notice

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 1 (2) of the Data

Protection Act, 2001, hereinafter called “the Act”, the Minister for

Information Technology and Investment has designated the 15th July,

2003, as the date on which article 56 of Part IX of the Act shall come

into force.
