Local Councils (Delegation of Enforcement) (Amendment)

(No.6) Order, 2000

IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection (1) of section

33 and subsection (6) of section 36 and by Section 72 of the Local

Councils Act, 1993, the Minister for Justice and Local Government has

made the following order:-

This Order may be cited as the Local Councils (Delegation of

Enforcement) (Amendment) (No.6) Order, 2000 and shall be read and

construed as one with the Local Councils (Delegation of Enforcement)

Order, 2000, hereinafter referred to as "the principal Order".

In the Second Schedule to the principal Order for the item

"Rabat (Gozo), Fontana, Ghajnsielem, Gharb, Ghasri, Kercem, Munxar,

Nadur, Qala, San Lawrenz, Sannat, Xaghra, Xewkija and Zebbug

(Gozo)" under the heading "Local Council" and for the corresponding

"Effective date of delegation" which is indicated as "To be established"

there shall be substituted the following:-

Effective date of Dele~ation

Local Council

"Rabat (Gozo), Fontana,

2nd June, 2000

Ghajnsielem, Gharb, Ghasri

Kercem, Munxar, Nadur, Qala,

Sannat, Xewkija and Zebbug

(Gozo)
