CUSTOMS ORDINANCE

(CAP. 37)

Customs (Forms) (Amendment) Regulations, 2000

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 81 A of the Customs

Ordinance, the Minister of Finance, has made the following

regulations:-

(1) These regulations may be cited as the Customs (Form)

(Amendment) Regulations, 2000.

(2) These regulations shall come into force on the date of

their publication, provided that until 31 st March, 2000 the current Form

No.lb (Report by Agent of a steam vessel exceeding 250 tons) and

Form No.8 (Contents Outwards) may be used concurrently with the

form as substituted by these regulations and from 1st April, 2000, only

Form No.1 b (Report by Agent of Vessel) and Form No.8 (Contents

Outwards) as substituted by these regulations shall be the applicable

forms.

(1) For Form No.1 b there shall be substituted the new Form

No.1b relating to Part II, Report of Cargo, section 6 (1) ofthe Customs

Customs Ordinance.

Ordinance, as shown in the First Part of the Schedule to tqese regulations.

(2) For Form No.8 there shall be substituted the new Form

No.8 relating to Part IX, Clearance Outwards, sections 52 and 53 of

the Customs Ordinance, as shown in the Second Part ofthe Schedule to

these regulations.
