CONSUMER AFFAIRS (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2000

(ACT NO. XXVI OF 2000)

Notice of coming into force

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 1 of the Consumer

Affairs (Amendment) Act, 2000, hereinafter called "the amending Act" ,

the Minister for Economic Services has established the 1st January,

2001 as the date on which articles 1 to 14, 17 and 18 ofthe amending

Act, and articles 43,48 to 55,94 excluding paragraph (a) of subarticle

(1) thereof, and 95 to 110 of the Consumer Affairs Act, Cap. 378, as

added by article 15 ofthe amending Act, shall come into force.
