Wage Increase (Employees) National Standard Order, 2000

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 4 of the Conditions

of Employment (Regulation) Act, the Deputy Prime Minister and

Minister for Social Policy, on the recommendation of the Labour Board

has made the following order:-

The title of this Order is the Wage Increase (Employees)

National Standard Order, 2000, and it shall come into effect on the 1st

January, 2001.

(1) The wages of whole-time employees shall be increased

by Lml.50c per week, this being an adjustment for cost of living.

(2) The hourly rate of part-time employees shall be increased

by one-fortieth of the rate of increase specified in the preceding

subarticle .
