Beer and other Beverages Exclusive Purchasing Agreements

(Block Exemptions) (Amendment) Regulations, 2000

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 8(1) of the

Competition Act, the Minister for Economic Services, after consultation

with the Commission for Fair Trading, has made the following

regulations: -

The title of these regulations is the Beer and other Beverages

Exclusive Purchasing Agreements (Block Exemptions) (Amendment)

Regulations,2ooo and shall be read and construed as one with the Beer

and other Beverages Exclusive Purchasing Agreements (Block

Exemptions) Regulations, 1996, hereinafter referred to as "the principal

regulations".

In regulation 2 of the principal regulations, for the words "on

the 31st October, 2000" there shall be substituted the words "on the

31st October, 2001".
