Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Regulations, 2000

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 17 of the Traffic

Regulation Ordinance, the Commissioner of Police, with the advice of

the Traffic Control Board, has made tlie following regulations:- .

The title of these regulations is the Motor Vehicles

(Amendment) Regulations, 2000, and shall be read and construed as

one with the Motor Vehicles Regulations, 1994, hereinafter referred to

as "the principal regulations.".

In subregulation (1) of regulation 82 of the principal

regulations, for the words "the driver of the motor vehicle which has

the other vehicle on his left side, shall allow such other vehicle to pass."

there shall be substituted the words "the driver of the motor vehicle

which has the other vehicle on his right side, shall allow such other

vehicle to pass.".
