Notice of coming into force

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 1 (2) of the Public

Transport Authority (Amendment) Act, 2000, the Minister for Transport

and Communications has appointed the 4th October, 2000 as the date

when the provisions of article 30 of the said Act with reference to the

enactment in the First Column of the Second Schedule, Fixed Electrical

Power and Telegraphic Communication System Ordinance, Cap. 81,

and to the amendments appearing relative thereto in the Second Column

of the said Schedule, shall come into force.
