Notice of coming into force

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 38 of the

Telecommunications (Regulation) Act and in accordance with regulation

3 of the Telecommunications Services (General) Regulations, 2000, the

Minister for Transport and Communications, after consultation with

the competent authority has established the 15th September, 2000 as

the date for the coming into force of regulations 1, 2, 3, 4, 5(1), 5(2),

5(3),5(4),5(5),5(6),5(7),6,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,17, 18, 19,20,25,

26, 27, 28 other than paragraph (ii) and the proviso thereto of

subregulation (I) thereof, 29, 33, 34, 35, 36, 38, 39,40, 41 (except insofar

as that regulation refers to fees to be paid on the grant of the licence and

to fees for subscriber numbers), 42,43,44,45,46,47,48, and the First

Schedule and the Second Schedule (except paragraphs 1 and 3 thereof),

of the said Telecommunications Services (General) Regulations, 2000

published by Legal Notice 151 of 2000.
