Bachelor of Science (Honours) - B.Sc. (Hons) - Degree Course (Amendment)

Regulations, 2000

IN exercise of the powers conferred upon him by sections 30 (5)

and 31 (6) of the Education Act (Cap. 327), the Chancellor of the

University of Malta has promulgated the following regulations made by

the Senate of the University of Malta by virtue of the powers conferred

upon it by sections 31 and 35 of the said Act

Citation

These regulations may be cited as the Bachelor of Science

(Honours) - B.Se. (Hons) - Degree Course (Amendment) Regulations, 2000 and

shall be read and construed as one with the Bachelor of Science (Honours) -

B.Se. (Hons) - Degree Course Regulations, 1996, published as Legal Notice 166

of 1996, hereinafter referred to as "the principal regulations".

Applicability

These regulations shall apply to courses starting in October 2002

or later.

Amendment of regulation 5 of the principal regulations

The following paragraph (d) shall be added after paragraph (c) of

regulation 5 of the principal regulations

"(d) Communication Therapy

two passes at Grade C or better in Biology and in either English or

Maltese, at least one of which must be at Advanced Level and one at

Intermediate Level."
