MALTA COMMUNICATIONS AUTHORITY ACT, 2000

(ACT NO. xvm OF 2000)

Commencement Notice

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 1 of the Malta

Communications Authority Act, 2000, the Minister for Transport and

Communications, has established the 1st August, 2000 as the date when

all the provisions of the said Act except those of sub-article (8) of article

5 and those of article 31 only insofar as the said article refers to the new

article 46 of the Telecommunications (Regulation) Act, Cap. 399, shall

come into force.
