Government Lotteries (Grand Lottery) (Amendment)

Regulations, 2000

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 4 of the Government

Lotteries Act, the Minister of Finance has made the following

regulations: -

(1) The title of these regulations is the Government Lotteries

(Grand Lottery) (Amendment) ~egulations, 2000 and shall be read and

construed as one with the Government Lotteries (Grand Lottery)

Regulations, 1991 hereinafter referred to as "the principal regulations".

(2) These regulations shall come into force on the 14th

August, 2000 as regards the Grand Lottery of the 8th October, 2000

and subsequent Grand Lotteries.

In paragraph A. Grand Lottery, in the Schedule of Prizes to

Amends Schedule A

the principal regulations, in the paragraph entitled FIRST PRIZE, for

the words "Lm 120 ,000" there shall be substituted the words

"Lm150,000" .
