Local Councils (Delegation of Enforcement) (Amendment)

(No.9) Order, 2000

IN exercise of the powers conferred by sub-article (1) of article 33

and sub-article (6) of article 36 and by article 72 of the Local Councils

Act, the Minister for Justice and Local Government has made the

following order:-

This order may be cited as the Local Councils (Delegation of

Enforcement) (Amendment) (No.9) Order, 2000 and shall be read and

construed as one with the Local Councils (Delegation of Enforcement)

Order, 2000, hereinafter referred to as "the principal order".

Amends the Second

In the Second Schedule to the principal order for the item

"Birgu, Bormla, Fgura, Isla, Kalkara, Marsaskala, Xghajra and Zabbar"

under the heading "Local Council" and for the corresponding "Effective

date of delegation" which is indicated as "To be established" there

shall be substituted the following:-

Effectiye date of Dele&ation

Local Council

28th July, 2000

"Birgu, Bormla, Fgura,

Kalkara, Marsaskala and

Zabbar"

To be established".
