Local Councils (Delegation of Enforcement) (Amendment)

(No.7) Order, 2000

IN exercise of the powers conferred by sub-article (1) of article 33

and sub-article (6) of article 36 and by article 72 of the Local Councils

Act, 1993, the Minister for Justice and Local Government has made the

following order:-

This order may be cited as the Local Councils (Delegation of

Enforcement) (Amendment) (No.7) Order, 2000 and shall be read and

construed as one with the Local Councils (Delegation of Enforcement)

Order, 2000, hereinafter referred to as "the principal order".

In the Second Schedule to the principal order for the item

"Birzebbuga, Kirkop, Luqa, Mqabba, Qrendi, Safi and Zurrieq" under

the heading "Local Council" and for the corresponding "Effective date

of the delegation" which is indicated as "To be established" there shall

be substituted the following:-

Effective date of Delegation

Local Council

"Kirkop, Luqa, Mqabba,

27th June, 2000

Qrendi, Safi and Zurrieq

To be established" .
