Motor Vehicles Registration Tax Act (Schedules)

(Amendment) Rules, 2000

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 20 of the Motor

Vehicles Registration Tax Act, the Minister for Transport and

Communications, with the concurrence of the Minister of Finance, has

made the following rules:-

(1) These rules may be cited as the Motor Vehicles

Registration Tax Act (Schedules) (Amendment) Rules, 2000, and shall

be read and construed as one with the Schedules to the Motor Vehicles

Registration Tax Act, hereinafter referred to as "the Schedule".

(2) These rules shall be deemed to have come into effect on

the 15th June, 2000.

In the First Schedule ofthe Schedules, in H.S. Code Number

87.02, for VERA Code Numbers and relative Goods 1.02.03.01-(C),

1.02.03.01A-(i), 1.02.03.01B-(ii), and 1.02.03.01C-(iii), there shall be

substituted the following:-
