Maintenance of Public Order at Sports Grounds

(Amendment) Regulations, 1998

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 203 of the Code

of Police Laws, the Prime Minister has made the following

regulations: -

These regulations may be cited at the Maintenance of Public

Order at Sports Grounds (Amendment) Regulations, 1998 and shall

be read and construed as one with the Maintenance of Public Order

at Sports Grounds Regulations, 1978, hereinafter referred to as "the

princi pal regulations".

In the definition of "sports ground" in regulation 2 of the

principal regulations, item (I) thereof shall be renumbered as item

(m), and immediately after item (k) there shall be added the following

new item (1)

The Victor Tedesco Stadium - Hamrun; and".
