HOUSING (DECONTROL) ORDINANCE

(CAP. ISS)

Index of Inflation for the Year 1997

BY VIRTUE and for the purposes of section 13 of the Housing

(Decontrol) Ordinance, the Director of Statistics has established the

index of inflation for the year 1997 at 567.95 percentage points in

continuation of the Schedule to the Ordinance aforesaid. This

represents a percentage change of 3.27% from 1996.
