Importation (Control) (Amendment) Regulations, 1998

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Supplies

and Services Act, the Minister of Finance and Commerce has made the

following regulations:-

(1) These regulations may be cited as the Importation

(Control) (Amendment) Regulations, 1998, and shall be read and

construed as one with the Importation (Control) Regulations, 1969,

hereinafter being referred to as "the principal regulations".

(2) These regulations shall come into force on the day next

following the date of their publication in the Gazette.

In the Schedule to the principal regulations immediately after

Harmonised System Code No. 85.02, there shall be inserted the

following new item

"85.13

Laser pointers".
