Bachelor of Sacred Theology - S.Th.B. - Degree Course (Amendment)

Regulations, 1998

exerCise of the powers conferred upon him by sections

:)0(5) and 31 (6) of the Education Act (Cap. 327), the Chancellor of

the University of Malta has promulgated the following regulations

made by the Senate of the University of Malta by virtue of th{: powers

conferred upon it by sections 31 and 35 of the said Act

Citation

These regulations may be dted as the Bachelor of Sacred Theology

- S.Th.B. - Degree (Amendment) Regulations, 1998 and shall be read and

construed as one with the Bachelor of Sacred Theology - 5Th.B. - Degree

Regulations of 1990 hereinafter referred to as "the principal regulations"

Applicability

(1) Amendments Nos 3 and 4 shall apply from May 1996 onward,:.

(2) Amendment No.5 shall apply from Fehruary 1997 onwards.

Amendment of regulation 4 of the principal regulations

"4.1

(a) The suhjects of the Intermediate Part of the course shall be

For paragraph (4) of Regulation 4 of the principal regulations

there shall he suhsrit.uled the following

"4.4 To complete the course of studies a candidate shall be required

to obtain a minimum of 51 credits in the Intermediate Part and 86 in the

Final Part."

Amendment of regulation 3 of the principal regulations

For paragraph (1) of Regulation 3 of the principal regulations

there shall be substituted the following

"3.

Admission Requirements

3.1

A candidate may apply for admission to the Course leading to

the degree of Bachelor of Sacred Theology if he satisfies the conditions for

admission as a regular student in terms of the Admission Regulations of the

University."
