Housing Authority (Transfer of Assets) (No.3)

Order, 1998

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 12 of the Housing

Authority Act, the President of Malta has made the following

order:-

This order may be cited as the Housing Authority (Transfer

of Assets) (No.3) Order, 1998.

The property described in article 4 of this order is hereby

specified for the purposes of section 12 of the Housing Authority

The property specified in article 2 of this order shall be

transferred and vest in the Housing Authority as provided in the

section aforesaid with effect from the 16th January, 1998.

The property referred to in article 2 of this order is the

following, that is to say

(1) The following land forming part of the lands Tal-

Ggantija, off Eighth September Avenue Government Housing

Estate, limits of Xaghra, Gozo, as hereunder indicated

(a) A plot of land having an area of approximately

240.8 square metres known as Plot No.6, Triq il-Bambina,

bounded on the North-West by Triq il-Bambina, on the

South-West by property of Gerald Sultana, and on the

North-East by property of Carmel Tabone, on which are

currently built premises bearing number 6, known as

"Bismark", Triq il-Bambina, Xaghra, Gozo, and which is

edged red and marked P. 6 on L.D. 357/90/2. (HAP

160/96).

(b) A plot of land having an area of approximately

230.9 square metres known as Plot No.7, Triq il-Bambina,

bounded on the North-West by Triq il-Bambina, on the

South-West by property of Michael Attard, and on the

North-East by property of Laurence Rapa, on which are

currently built premises bearing number 7, known as

"Carmen House", Triq il-Bambina, Xaghra, Gozo, and

which is edged red and marked P. 7 on L.D. 357/90/2. (HAP

225/96).

(c) A plot of land having an area of approximately

216.27 square meters known as Plot No.8, Triq il-Bambina,

bounded on the North-West by Triq il-Bambina, on the

South-West by property of Carmel Tabone, and on the

North-East by property of Joseph Attard, on which are

currently built premises bearing number 8, Triq il-

Bambina, Xaghra, Gozo, and which is edged red and

marked P. 8 on L.D. 357/90/2. (HAP 115/96).

(d) A plot of land having an area of approximately

205.12 square metres known as Plot No.9, Triq il-Bambina,

bounded on the North-West by Triq il-Bambina, on the

South-East by property of Michael Sultana, and on the

South-West by property of Laurence Rapa, on which are

currently built premises bearing number 9, Triq il-

Bambina, Xaghra, Gozo, and which is edged red and

(e) A plot of land having an area of approximately

193.98 square metres known as Plot No. 10, Triq il-

Bambina, bounded on the North-East by property of

Francis Mercieca, on the South-West by property of Joseph

which are currently built premises bearing number 10,

known as "Arcadia", Triq il-Bambina, Xaghra, Gozo, and

180.95 square metres known as Plot No. 11, Triq il-

currently built premises bearing number 11, known as

"Francon House" Triq il-Bambina, Xaghra, Gozo, and
