AGRICULTURE (PLANT PROTECTION) ACT

Plant Protection (Fees) Regulations, 1998

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 28 of the Agricuture

(Plant Protection) Act, the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, in

concurrance with the Minister of Finance and Commerce, has made the

following regulations:-

(l) These regulations may be cited as the Plant Protection

(Fees) Regulations, 1998.

(2) These regulations shall be deemed to have come into

force on the IstJanuary, 1998.

There shall be payable to the Department of Agriculture for

inspections carried out, and certificates issued, relating to plants the

fees specified against each respective service as follows

(a) For the inspection and release of grain

and fodder-

(i)

(b) For the inspection and release of fruit and

vegetables, ornamental plants and their materials -
