(CAP. 85)

Potato Export (Amendment) Regulations, 1998

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 10 of the

Agricultural Produce (Export) Ordinance, the Minister of Agriculture

and Fisheries, with the concurrence of th~ Minister of Finance and

Commerce, has made the following regulations:-

(l) These regulations may be cited as the Potato Export

(Amendment) Regulations, 1998, and shall be read and construed as

one with the Potato Export Regulations, 1935, hereinafter referred to as

"the principal regulations".

(2) These regulations shall be deemed to have come into

force on the 1st January, 1998.

In Article 7 of the principal regulations, for the words from

"A fee" to "such certificate or licence." there shall be substituted the

words "A fee of Lm20 shall be charged for the issue or renewal of any

such certificate or licence.".
