Agricultural Produce (Marketing) (Amendment) Regulations,

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Supplies

and Services Act, 1947, the Minister of Finance and Commerce, has

made the following regulations:-

(l) These regulations may be cited as the Agricultural

Produce (Marketing) (Amendment) Regulations, 1998, and shall be read

and construed as one with the Agricultural Produce (Marketing)

Regulations, 1952, hereinafter referred to as "the principal regulations".

(2) These regulations shall be deemed to have come into

force on the IstJanuary, 1998.

For paragraph (3) of regulation 5 of the principal regulations

there shall be substituted the following

"(3) The fee leviable on the issue and on every renewal of a

pitkallicence shall be of Lm20, and the fee leviable for the issue and

every renewal of a pitkal entry permit shall be of Lm3.".
