(CAP. 325)

Qualifying Export Services Companies

(Maximum Rent Chargeable) Order, 1998

IN exercise of the powers conferred by sections 18(4) and 44 of

the Industrial Development Act, the Minister for Economic Affairs and

Industry and the Malta Development Corporation have made the

following order:-

( I)

This order may be cited as the Qual ifying Export Services

Companies (Maximum Rent Chargeable) Order, 1998.

(2) This order shall be deemed to have come into effect on

the 1st January, 1998.

The maximum rental rate chargeable for Government industrial

buildings and structures in the case of companies performing or

rendering in Malta or from Malta a qualifying export service in terms

of paragraph (e) of subsection (l) of section 3 of the Industrial

Development Act shall be of Lm20 per square meter per annum.
