(FIRST ISSUE)

IN exercise of the powers conferred by the Local Loans Act, 1998

and by section a(lXa) of the Local Loans (Registered Stock and

Securities) Ordinance, Cap. 161, the Minister of Finance and

Commerce has authorised that due to oversubscription in

Lm10000900 7 .8Vo Malta Government Stock 2018 (I) created by

means of Legal Notice No. 161 of 1998 published on the l9th June,

1998 , an additional Lm60 ,000 ,000 7 .8Vo MaltzGovernment Stock 20 I 8

(I) having the same conditions shall be created thus bringing the total

amount of this Stock to Lm70,000,000.In terms of paragraph 5 of the

same Legal Notice the half yearly contribution to the Sinking Fund

shall be raised from Lm100,000 to Lm700000.
