Notice of coming into force

IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection (2) of section I

of the Education (Amendment) Act, 1997, the Minister of Education

and National Culture has established the 25th July, 1997, as the date on

which the provisions of paragraph (d) of section 4 of the Education

(Amendment) Act, 1997 as relating to the new subsections (15) and

(16) of section 30 of the Education Act, Cap. 327, shall be deemed to

have come into force, and the 20th July, 1998 as the date on which all

the other remaining provisions of the said Education (Amendment) Act,

1997 shall come into force.
