Commissioner of Land

(Transfer of Rights and Liabilities) Order, 1998

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 2 of the

Commissioner of Land Ordinance, the President of Malta has made the

following order:-

This order may be cited as the Commissioner of Land (Transfer

of Rights and Liabilities) Order, 1998.

The land described in article 4 of this order IS hereby specified

for the purpose of section 2 of the Commissioner of Land Ordinance.

The rights and liabilities in respect of the land specified in

article 2 of this order shall with effect from the 1st January, 1998 be

exercised by the Malta Development Corporation as provided in the

section aforesaid.

The land referred to in article 2 of this order is the following,

that is to say

(a) An area of land including any buildings thereon at Hal

Kirkop shown bordered in red on plan LD. 66/96, which plan was

enrolled in the Acts of Notary Vincent Miceli on the 5th June,

1996;

(b) An area of land including any buildings thereon at

Xewkija, Gozo shown bordered in red on plan L.D. 12/97, which

plan was enrolled in the Acts of Notary Vincent Miceli on the 7th

May, 1997.
