Malta Maritime Authority Act (Amendment of First Schedule)

Order, 199E

IN exercise of the powers conferred by sections 27 and 54 of

the Malta Maritime Authority Act, 1991, hereinafter referred to as

"the principal law", the Minister for Transport and Ports has made

the following order:-

This order may be cited as the Malta Maritime Authority citation.

Act (Amendment of First Schedule) Order, 1998, and shall be read

and construed as one with the First Schedule to the principal law.

The First Schedule to the principal law shall be amended nmenasFtust

(a) for the words -

"Ports

Part I

The Grand Harbour of Valletta"

there shall be substituted the following

"Part I

The Grand Harbour of Valletta but excluding the

following areas

(a) the areaoflandbordered in red on plan

(b) the areaoflandborderedinredon plan

L.D.97 t98

(c) the area of land bordered in green on

plan L.D.9lB/98

(d) the area of land bordered in green on

plan L.D.9lC/98.

Plans L.D. 91 A.198, L.D. 97 198,L.D. 9 lBl98 and

L.D.9lcl98 are annexed to the deed dated lst June,

1998 published by Notary Vincent Miceli and entered

into between the Government of Malta and the Malta

Maritime Authority."; and

(b) for item I in Part III thereof there shall be substituted

the following:-

"1. The Grand Harbour of Valletta other than those

areas thereof excluded in Part I".
