PORT WORKERS ORDINANCE

(CAP. 171)

Pori Workers (Amendment) Regulations, 1m

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 17 of the Pon

Workers Ordinance, the Min iste r for T ransport and Ports, in consultalion

with the Malia Marit ime Authority and with the concurrence of the

Mi n iste r of Finance and Commerce, h as made the follo"'illg

regulations:-

I. These regulations may be cited as the Pon Workers

(Amendment) Regulations. 1997. and shall be read and construed as

o ne with the Pon Wo rkers Regulations, 1993, he reinafter referred Ie as

"the principal regulations".

In subparagraph (c) of paragraph (2) of regulation 44 of the

princi pal regulations, for the words "Lm77 per week" there shall be

substituted the words " Lmll2 per week".
