PREVENTION OF DISEASE ORDINANCE

(CAP. 36)

Infectious or Contagious DisC4.lses (Extension) Order, 1997

IN virtue of the powers vested in him by section II of the

Prevention of Disease Ordinance. the Minister of Health. Care of the

Elderly and Family Affairs. on the advice crthe Council of Health. has

ordered thai the provisions of section 7 of the said Ordinance (dealing

wilh the dUly of Medical Practitioners to notify certain diseases) shaJl

as from the lSI July. 1997 also apply to Acute Flacc:id Paralysis as they

already apply to Ihe infectious or contagious diseases mentioned in

ubsecllon (2) of section 10 of the said Ordinance.
