Income Tax Exemption (Philanthropic Work) Notice, 1997

BY virtue of the powers vested in him by paragraph (e) of

subsection (I) of section 12 of the Income Tax Act, the Minister of

Finance and Commerce has named the following institurions and

organisations as being engaged in philanthropic work, and thus exempr

from income tax;-

These exemptions arc being given for the duration of five years

starting from Ihe respective dale of the foundation of the above

institutions and organiz.ations.
