IN exercise of the powen conferred by section 3 of the Police
Licences Act. the Prime Minister has made the following regu lations:-
I . T hese regu lat ions may be cited as the Police Lice nces CiuDo>o.
(Amendment) (No.2) Regulations, 1997 and shall be readand construed
as one with the Police Licences Regulations. 1949, hereinafter referred O.N. l"'6of 1949.

purposes or for the purpose of killing
game on land (other than the hunting of

Provided that a person who is licensed in
terms of item 7 (a) shall pay for a functional
shotgun or shotguns during any year following
the year o f pu rchase thereof, a fee of ........ .

To carry a fireann for hunting from
on board any seacraft, three kilometres from

Provided that a person who is
licensed in terms of item 7 (b) shall pay the
fees payable in tenns of item 7 (a) and the
re lative: proviso as applicable.
8. To carry fireanns for the purpose of
