IN exercise of the POWC11i conferred by section 214 of the Code of

Police Laws. the Prime Minister. with the concurrence ofthc Deputy

Prime Ministcr and Minister of Foreign AITain and the Environment.

has made the following reguJmions:-

I. These re gulations Oily be cited as the Hun tin g Licences

(Amendment) Regulations . 1997. and shall be Tea<! and construed as

one with the Hunting Licences Regulations. 1993. hcTei naftcr re ferred

to as 'lhe principal regulations".

In paragraph (4) of regulation 2 o f the principal regulations

for the words "(Amendment) Regulations, 1996 and filed such form

with the Director responsib le for the department for the protection of

the environment , who shalltheTeupoo issue the authorisation shown in

Schedule V to the said regulations" there shall be substituted the words
