Commencement Notice

IN exerci se of the powe rs conferred by section 50 of the

En vironment Protection Act. 1991, the Deputy Prime Minister and

Minister of Foreign A ffairs and the Environment has established 19th

December. 1997 as the date on which section 49 of the said Act shall

come into force .
