Sta tue amend ing Sta tute 3 (Amend ment No. 10) of the

University of Malta - Course of Studics,lkgr ees and Distin ctions

IN C!lcrcise of the powers confc m:d upon hi m by sectiOns 30 (5)

and 31 (6) of the Education Act (Cap. 327), the Chancellor of the

Universi ty of Malta has promulgated the followi ng statute made by the

Council of the Univers ity of Malta by virtue of the powers conferred

uron it by sections, 31, 33 and 48 (3) of the said Act

Cita tion

I . This statue may be cited as the Stat ute amendi ng Statue 3 (Amendment No.

10) of the Uni versity of Malta - CoutSCS of Studies, Degrees and Distinctions - and

shall be read and construed as one wit h the statu te of the University of Malta incl uded

in Schedule II o r the Education Act (Cap. 327), here inafter rcfem:d to as "the principal

statute".

Amendment of principal statute

Sub· paragraph I of paragra ph 3. 1 of the principal stat ue shall be amended as

follows

(a) under the head ing FaCility ojECQMmics, Mana/{em em and Accountancy

immediately under the ..... ords "Diploma in Labour Stud ies" there shall be inserted

the words " Diploma in Management Studies - Dip. Man gt." and immediately

underthe words " Diploma in Public Administration - D.P.A." there shall be added

the words "Master of Ans in Human Resource Development - M .A.";

(b) under the heading Faculty oj Ed/lcation immediately after the words

" Postgraduate Certificate in Education - P.G .CE ." there shall be inserted the

words "Diploma in Adult Education" and immedi ately after the words "Diploma

in Librarianship" there shall be added the ..... ords "D iplo ma in Library and

Information Studies";

(c) under the heading f ac ll lt)" oj LaWl immediately under the words

" Diploma in Diplomatic Studies" there shall be in.erted !he following

(e) immediately before the heading Institute o/Gerontology there shall be

inserted the followi ng
